and we will calculate the amount of propane you will have in Pre-Buy and put
that on your account. It will show up on your account as a credit.
Ex. John Doe sends us $500. His price per gallon at that time is $1.799.
$500(amount sent) /
1.799(price per gallon) / 1.07 %(tax) = 259.75 gallons of pre-buy rounded to
259.8.
When we make your next
delivery, then your price per gallon is $1.799 per gallon (for the next 259.8
gallons) even if the rate has increased to $1.999 or whatever it is at the
time.
The best way to do this is to
pre-buy the propane in the summer. This also helps with your winter bills since
you have already paid for some of the propane early.
